Donald Trump was rejected by Nevadans not once but twice…

Nearly a month into the general election and still failing to consolidate his base, Joe Lombardo is once again calling in reinforcements from Donald Trump to repair his lackluster support from the Republican base. But even with Trump by his side, #NoShowJoe is still refusing to face voters at tonight’s event as he attempts to cover up his shady record as sheriff. Currently under investigation and embroiled in litigation for using his public office for political gain, it’s clear Lombardo is just another corrupt politician like Trump.

“After spending the last year trying to cover up his record of corruption while letting crime spiral out of control in Clark County, Joe Lombardo is now desperately counting on Donald Trump to help his struggling campaign,” said Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Mallory Payne. “Lombardo and Trump may share a history of blatantly abusing public office for their own gain, but nothing can repair the damage of Lombardo’s abysmal record.”
