Sleazy, corrupt politician Adam Laxalt has based his entire campaign for Senate around the Big Lie. He’s already planning legal action to overturn the 2022 election.

Shortly after his campaign launch, the AP reported that Laxalt was planning early litigation to “tighten up” the 2022 election and overturn the results, later arguing that he only failed in 2020 because the Trump campaign went “on the offense too late.”

Just a few months later, the New York Times revealed that Laxalt was “laying detailed groundwork” for lawsuits to ensure the election went his way. Laxalt’s efforts have earned him widespread ridicule and condemnation, from the Washington Post, Rachel Maddow, and Chris Hayes, among many others. 

Statement from Nevada Democratic Victory Spokesperson Olivia Davis:

“Adam Laxalt has always been out for himself and he has made it clear he will go even further than Trump to try to overturn the 2022 election. His early plans for litigation to contest the election show that Laxalt will stop at nothing to gain power.”
