Sleazy, corrupt politician Adam Laxalt has based his entire campaign for Senate around the Big Lie. Here’s how it started:

As the Trump campaign co-chair in Nevada, Adam Laxalt spent the aftermath of the 2020 election working to reverse the results in favor of Donald Trump.

Laxalt “orchestrated a slew of failed lawsuits meant to stop the ballot tally” and was later labeled “the face of Trump’s baseless election fraud lawsuits.” Laxalt’s main example of “fraud” was a man named Kirk Hartle who claimed someone had voted illegally on behalf of his deceased wife — months later, Hartle was charged with two counts of voter fraud after admitting he had done it himself.

Despite Laxalt’s best bad faith efforts, a federal judge, the Nevada Supreme Court, and Nevada’s Republican Secretary of State all ruled there was no evidence of widespread fraud.
