“Lies. Corruption. That’s Joe Lombardo.”

Today, Nevada Democratic Victory released a video to highlight Sheriff Joe Lombardo’s lack of transparency and integrity following details of his corrupt immigration enforcement policy as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

After leading the public to believe he ended the 287(g) program more than two years ago and insisting claims he has a zero-tolerance policy on undocumented immigrants is ‘absolutely false,’ we now know Metro officers were instructed the very next day to help ICE seize undocumented immigrants who are jailed for nonviolent crimes–and to keep it off the books. Despite facing calls to step down, Lombardo still hasn’t given the public any clarification on his corrupt policy.
