Today, the Nevada Democratic Victory campaign announced the hiring of Andres Orellana as Senior Communications Advisor, who will focus on re-electing Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Nevada Democrats in 2022.

“I am honored to be back in Nevada as we work to hold Republicans accountable and help re-elect Senator Cortez Masto and Democrats up and down the ballot so they can continue fighting for Nevada’s families and economic future,” said Andres Orellana. “With so much at stake in this election, I look forward to ensuring we shine a spotlight on dangerous Republican extremism and turn Nevada blue again in 2022.”

A former staffer for Mayor Rahm Emanuel in Chicago and Senator Cortez Masto’s 2016 campaign, Orellana most recently worked on western races at the DCCC in 2020 and served as the Political Director for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ political arm BOLD PAC during the historic 2018 Midterm elections.
