Lombardo walks back abortion stance for the third time
Joe Lombardo finally broke his months-long streak of avoiding mainstream media just to lie to Nevadans and play games with their health care. We know it can be difficult to keep up, so here’s a timeline to make it easier.

August 4, 2022: Doubles down on supporting overturning Nevada’s existing abortion laws
August 11, 2022: When asked why he changed his position…“I don’t know where you read that at.” Lombardo once again…supports Nevada’s existing abortion laws?
His most recent lie comes on the same day he finally admitted he would reverse Governor Sisolak’s executive order expanding abortion protections, making it clear he wants to restrict abortion access in Nevada.
P.S. Does Lombardo understand what an executive order is?
“Joe Lombardo can resort to lying to Nevadans as much as he wants but it couldn’t be more clear: he’s a threat to abortion rights and he can’t be trusted,” said Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Mallory Payne.
