Laxalt Continues To Cling to the Big Lie, Remains Committed to the False Narrative
Corrupt, failed politician Adam Laxalt continues to face scrutiny after AP reported he is already planning to file litigation to potentially overturn the 2022 election results if he loses this Senate race.
After a week of scathing national and local coverage, Laxalt has still not responded “to questions about whether pre-election litigation could affect voter confidence or whether he would accept the results of the 2022 election.” Nor has Laxalt provided a response as to the nature of lawsuits that could “tighten up the election” on his behalf in 2022.
Instead, Laxalt doubled down on his Big Lie campaign strategy and lashed out at the media for reporting on his efforts. Read and watch more on Laxalt’s terrible week below:

A worse example comes from the leading GOP candidate for Senate in Nevada, Adam Laxalt…This week, Laxalt flatly declared his campaign will “file lawsuits early” to “secure this election,” as if it’s a foregone conclusion that a loss would be dubious by definition.
Worse, Laxalt vowed to avoid the supposed mistakes of 2020, in which the election was “rigged” and the only failure was that Trump campaign lawsuits “came too late.” Laxalt, then, will begin contesting any eventual loss right now, because otherwise Democrats will succeed in stealing another election. This, too, is a declaration in advance not to accept a loss as a legitimate outcome.
And then, when the press covered his despicable threat, Laxalt rejoiced that he was “triggering the media,” smarmily insisting the press is attacking anyone who wants “secure” and “fair” elections.
In fact, Laxalt is the one threatening to undermine secure and fair elections. Indeed, as this demonstrates, for Trumpist politicians, the refusal to commit to respecting legitimate election losses is now a badge of honor.

“In Nevada, the front runner for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat that’s up there next year, his name is Adam Laxalt. He’s not actually in a primary for that seat for another nine months. Even if he wins the Republican primary in nine months, he wouldn’t be up for the general election contest for that seat for 14 months. But he already right now is campaigning on how he’s going to bring great lawsuits to contest the election results. Nine months before the primary he’s already saying that the election is definitely going to have voter fraud and he’s definitely going to be challenging the results. I don’t even have to tell you this is the guy that’s got former President Trump’s endorsement for that senator seat in Nevada.”

Such efforts aren’t contained to California. Over in Nevada, AP reports that GOP Senate hopeful Adam Laxalt — the son and grandson of former U.S. senators — is already “raising fears of voter fraud”…in next year’s midterm elections. The plan is to “file lawsuits early, if there are lawsuits we can file to try to tighten up the election,” Laxalt told a conservative radio host last month. He has some experience in such matters — he chaired Trump’s 2020 Nevada campaign, which filed lawsuits contesting Biden’s win in the state.
KSNV: “Is [Laxalt] crying wolf? He led the bid of voter fraud claims in Nevada in November. We’ll tell you why Adam Laxalt is already raising concerns about next year’s midterms.”
KSNV: Laxalt “is sticking with the talking point that even some Republicans have abandoned…a lot of people refer to it as the Big Lie that he continues to cling to…Worth reminding everyone the only really republican that Governor Steve Sisolak interacts with all the time is republican Barbara Cegavske.
