Election Ambassador

Nevada Democratic Victory is seeking talented high school students to work as Election Ambassadors through the 2022 campaign cycle. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to helping build the coordinated campaign working to elect Sen. Cortez Masto, Gov. Sisolak, and Democrats up and down the ballot in November 2022. 

Role Overview 

Election Ambassadors will be responsible for going door to door in the community to persuade and identify supporters of Nevada Democratic candidates and help those individuals make a plan to vote. Students should be motivated, good communicators, and excited for the opportunity to learn about the political process by working hands-on in their community. Ambassadors will be provided with: training, transportation and food during shift times, and all the required materials to be successful in this position. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Go door to door to identify and persuade members of the community to support Democratic candidates
  • Help those same members of the community make plans to vote 

Required Qualifications  

  • Must be between 14 and 18 years of age and enrolled in high school or equivalent program
  • Willing to go door to door and talk with members of the community
  • Access to a mobile phone during canvassing 

No Prior Work Experience is Necessary! 

Salary for this position is $15/hour for up to 30 hours per week. The program runs from July through November 8, 2022.
