Today, Democrats are kicking off the 2022 statewide coordinated campaign, Nevada Democratic Victory, in partnership with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Democratic Governors Association, to re-elect U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Governor Steve Sisolak and elect Democrats up and down the ticket. Nevada Democratic Victory will immediately begin working to register Democratic voters in every corner of Nevada, engage communities across the state to share our message of fighting for working families, and hold Republicans accountable for opposing policies designed to get Nevadans through this pandemic and improve our state.
Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Molly Forgey released the following statement:
“The Nevada Democratic Victory team is taking nothing for granted and launching our statewide coordinated campaign earlier than ever before. Our Democratic elected officials have made an enormous difference to Nevada families, helping restore our economy after a devastating pandemic and working to create jobs and get Nevadans back to work. But Nevada remains a critical battleground and maintaining our Democratic majorities in Congress hinges on our success in the Silver State, and we know what it takes to win. Together, Nevada Democratic Victory will organize in every county and every community to re-elect Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Governor Steve Sisolak, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.”
Yesterday, WashoeDEMS executive board members voted to provide the logistical support for the 2022 statewide coordinated, garnering the backing of national organizations including the DSCC and the DGA, and Nevada’s Democratic elected officials.
