Corrupt Failed Politician Adam Laxalt Is Bringing His DC Special Interest Friends To Town

McIntosh and Club For Growth are Longtime Washington Political Allies of Laxalt’s, Closely Linked to Koch Network

Earlier this year, the DC special interest group Club for Growth pushed out a stunt Republican primary poll trying to encourage corrupt and failed politician Adam Laxalt to run for Senate. Now the group’s president, David McIntosh, is speaking at Laxalt’s far-right cattle call event next month to continue courting Laxalt.

Unsurprisingly, Club for Growth and McIntosh are closely linked to the Koch network of GOP mega-donors who spent millions working to try and elect Laxalt to the Governor’s office. In 2016, Laxalt was caught abusing the powers of his office in an attempt to keep investigators from scrutinizing groups connected to the Kochs, who were his largest campaign backers.

McIntosh joins an increasingly controversial list of extremists planning to attend Laxalt’s political event that includes Matt Schlapp and Ric Grenell, two Washington insiders who spewed lies to try to overturn Nevada’s election results in 2020.

Statement from Senior Communications Advisor Andy Orellana:

“It comes as no surprise to Nevadans that the only time Adam Laxalt will publicly show his face in state is when he’s side-by-side with his DC special interest allies. These are the very same far-right actors who Laxalt worked for while in office, pushing a corrupt agenda that hurt Nevada’s families. Clearly Laxalt knows his base of support and it’s Washington Republicans – not Nevada voters.”
