Today, Nevada Democratic Victory Spokesman Joshua Rush issued the following response in light of Nevada GOP Attorney General nominee Sigal Chattah’s latest attack on the LGBTQ+ community in a tweet:

“Sigal Chattah’s latest attack on LGBTQ+ Nevadans, the use of a violent and harmful slur to refer to transgender people, once again proves her lack of qualification to be Nevada’s top law enforcement officer, tasked with protecting transgender Nevadans under our robust anti-discrimination laws. Attorney General Ford has been a successful advocate in the fight for equality. We reaffirm our support for the LGBTQ+ community and reject Sigal Chattah’s extremist attacks on LGBTQ+ Nevadans’ freedoms.”
