Nevada Democratic Victory Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Events Across State

Nevada Democratic Victory is organizing in the Hispanic community and invested early in engaging Hispanic voters in the 2022 elections

Over the first full week of Hispanic Heritage Month, Nevada Democratic Victory engaged Hispanic voters through coalition-building events in every corner of the state, starting with Reno’s Fiesta on Wells, where on Sunday alongside the Washoe Dems, Sen. Cortez Masto, Gov. Sisolak, and Lt. Gov. Lisa Cano Burkhead celebrated Northern Nevada’s vibrant Latino community.

On Tuesday, Nevada Democratic Victory hosted a Spanish Language Phone Bank, in which Spanish speakers reminded voters across Nevada of the stakes in the upcoming election, helped persuade them to vote for Democrats, and engaged them to volunteer with the campaign going forward.

On Wednesday, Nevada Democratic Victory hosted Spanish speakers from across Las Vegas for a Spanish Language Info Session, offering Hispanic Nevadans the opportunity to learn about our candidates, ask questions about the work Democrats have been doing for their community, and meet Lt. Gov. Lisa Cano Burkhead.
