One Year After Promising Lawsuits, Laxalt Still Pushing To Overturn Elections

It’s been one year since the AP first reported that corrupt politician Adam Laxalt was planning preemptive lawsuits to help him overturn the 2022 election if he loses. Here’s what we’ve learned since:

Huffington Post reported Laxalt would not commit to certifying the 2024 election results if Biden wins.

NBC News caught Laxalt telling Republicans in rural counties that their votes count, just not votes in Clark County.

Huffington Post reported Laxalt – who opposes vote-by-mail – was telling Republicans to vote by mail for him.

Laxalt’s efforts to fundraise off the Big Lie earned him the ire of Nevada law enforcement, according to KLAS.

He doubled down by fundraising with Trump and arguing the January 6 insurrection he inspired was exaggerated by the media, per the AP.

The New York Times uncovered Laxalt’s detailed efforts to launch lawsuits and fight “voter fraud…” 231 days before election day.

And then CNN reported that Laxalt had hired an insurrectionist to help run his campaign.

Just last week, the Nevada Independent reported that Laxalt was pushing for audits to overturn the 2020 election while campaigning for U.S. Senate.

What’s next?

Statement from Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Olivia Davis:

“Laxalt is as corrupt as they come, spewing lies about election fraud in Nevada since the start of his campaign. He is already expecting voters to reject him just like they did last time he ran, which is why he’s willing to break the rules to gain power.”
