As Nevada Republicans vilify the FBI for executing a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence as part of a federal investigation, Joe Lombardo has yet to denounce their attack on law enforcement–once again choosing political gain over doing the right thing.

Meanwhile, the GOP ticket is putting more pressure on Lombardo to act on their baseless claims of election fraud. Jim Marchant asserted his slate – even calling Lombardo out by name – will ”fix Nevada” and audit the primary election (that they all…won) as well as the November election that hasn’t even happened yet. He’s already called on Lombardo once, encouraging sheriffs to investigate elections. Lombardo continues to remain silent.

“In a pathetic attempt to take both sides, Joe Lombardo is standing by silently while his party attacks the law enforcement community, incites violence and continues to push dangerous election conspiracy theories,” said Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Mallory Payne. “Three months out from the general election, we’re asking the same question we’ve asked for the past year: will Lombardo stand with Nevadans, or will he cave to his base?”
