Laxalt’s Top Campaign Boosters Oppose Abortion for 10-year-old Rape Victim

Corrupt politician Adam Laxalt’s top campaign boosters are arguing young girls should not be allowed to have abortions, even in cases of rape, in response to a new story about a 10-year-old victim of rape in Ohio who crossed state lines to terminate her pregnancy.

When commenting on the case, Laxalt’s group’s general counsel said, “Unless her life was at danger, there is no exception for rape,” referring to a child.

Laxalt recently spoke at a gala for the group and wrote, “I’m proud to have their endorsement.” He called the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade a “historic victory” and said he would support overturning Nevada’s abortion protections with a strict state-level ban.

Statement from Nevada Democratic Victory Spokesperson Olivia Davis:

“No rape victim, especially at 10 years old, should be denied the health care she needs. It’s inconceivable that Laxalt’s top political group opposes abortion access for this young girl. Laxalt is an automatic vote for a federal ban on abortion that would hurt women in Nevada and across the country.”
