Following former President Trump’s endorsement of Joe Lombardo, Nevada Democratic Victory spokesperson Mallory Payne released the following statement:

“After months of flailing on the campaign trail and getting pummeled on the airwaves by his opponents, Joe Lombardo’s campaign is on life support and desperately called on the one person he claimed he wouldn’t seek out. Just one day after saying expanding health coverage is ‘bullshit’ and scoffing at Nevadans who are struggling, it’s clear Lombardo will do or say anything to win this election. Regardless of who endorses him, Lombardo still has to survive six weeks of a brutal, crowded primary that will no doubt leave the lone survivor bruised and broke in June.”
